Die Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) hat kürzlich angekündigt, dass es zu einer teilweisen Sperrung der G-Züge in Brooklyn kommen wird. Die Sperrung wird von 18:30 Uhr bis 3:00 Uhr dauern und beginnt am Montag, den 17. Juni.

Die Maßnahme wurde ergriffen, um an den Schieneninfrastrukturarbeiten im Bereich des Hoyt-Schermerhorn Street Station zu arbeiten. Dies wird dazu führen, dass die Züge nur zwischen den Stationen Bedford-Nostrand Avenues und Court Square in beiden Richtungen verkehren. Die Pendler werden gebeten, alternative Routen zu suchen und zusätzliche Reisezeit einzuplanen.

Die MTA hat betont, dass die Arbeiten notwendig sind, um die Zuverlässigkeit und Sicherheit des G-Zugs zu verbessern. Es wird erwartet, dass die Sperrung bis Freitag, den 21. Juni, dauern wird.

Die Fahrgäste wurden aufgefordert, sich auf der Website der MTA über aktuelle Fahrplanänderungen zu informieren.
