Austin, Texas: Pride Month Events

Austin, Texas is gearing up for a month full of Pride events celebrating the LGBTQ+ community. While the official Pride parade has been canceled this year due to ongoing health concerns, there are still plenty of ways to show support and solidarity.

The Austin Pride Festival, scheduled for June 6th, will feature live music, drag performances, and community resources. Attendees can enjoy food trucks and vendor booths while listening to a lineup of diverse LGBTQ+ artists.

There will also be a virtual Pride parade on June 13th, allowing participants to showcase their creativity and Pride spirit from the safety of their own homes. The event will be livestreamed for all to enjoy.

Throughout the month, local businesses and organizations will be hosting their own Pride-themed events, including art exhibits, film screenings, and panel discussions. A highlight of the month will be the Queerbomb celebration on June 27th, an alternative pride event that promises to be full of energy and inclusivity.

Despite the challenges of the past year, Austin is coming together to show support for the LGBTQ+ community and celebrate Pride in style. Whether in person or online, there are many opportunities to join in the festivities and spread love and acceptance.
