Atlanta: Stadtratsmitglieder genehmigen die Verwendung älterer Autos für Flughafenfahrdienste
ATLANTA – Mitglieder des Atlanta-Stadtrats haben am Dienstag einem Plan zugestimmt, der es Fahrdienstunternehmen erlaubt, ältere Fahrzeuge am Flughafen Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta zu betreiben.

Der Antrag wurde von einem Unternehmen namens Airport Ride-Share Services gestellt, das vorschlägt, Fahrzeuge, die bis zu 10 Jahre alt sind, für den Betrieb am Flughafen zu verwenden. Derzeit müssen Fahrzeuge, die für Transportdienste am Flughafen eingesetzt werden, weniger als sieben Jahre alt sein.

Obwohl einige Stadtratsmitglieder Bedenken geäußert haben, dass ältere Fahrzeuge möglicherweise nicht den gleichen Sicherheitsstandards entsprechen, stimmten die Mitglieder letztendlich für den Plan.

Die Zustimmung des Stadtrats ermöglicht es Airport Ride-Share Services, eine Flotte von älteren Fahrzeugen für den Betrieb am verkehrsreichsten Flughafen der Welt zu nutzen.
