In Atlanta sind neue MARTA-Stationen auf dem Weg

Atlanta beabsichtigt, zwei neue U-Bahn-Stationen im Nordosten der Stadt zu bauen. Die Stationen sollen den STADTTEIL Doraville und die PEACHTREE INDUSTRIAL BOULEVARD bedienen.

Die neuen Stationen werden voraussichtlich 2027 in Betrieb genommen und Teil des MARTA-Systems sein. Dies wird es den Bewohnern erleichtern, sich innerhalb der Stadt zu bewegen und den Verkehr zu entlasten.

Die Pläne für die neuen Stationen sind Teil eines größeren Projekts zur Verbesserung des öffentlichen Verkehrs in der Region Atlanta. Bürgermeister Keisha Lance Bottoms bezeichnete die neuen Stationen als wichtigen Schritt zur Stärkung der Verkehrsinfrastruktur der Stadt.

Die Kosten für den Bau der neuen Stationen werden voraussichtlich bei rund 300 Millionen Dollar liegen. Die Finanzierung erfolgt durch eine Kombination aus staatlichen Mitteln und Bundesmitteln.

Die Bewohner von Atlanta sind gespannt auf die neuen MARTA-Stationen und freuen sich darauf, dass sie bald in Betrieb genommen werden.
